Joy Myerscough was born in York, England. She’s writing a novel, a short story collection, flash fiction and a picture book, not to mention a to-do list, which is usually neglected.
Her short story Saturday Night At The Star and Anchor won the 4th annual David Sedaris Humor Writing Contest and was shortlisted for the William Trevor/Elizabeth Bowen International Story Competition.
A story appeared in the 2016 National Flash Fiction’s anthology and others were published on the NFFD website in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Stories were also long or shortlisted for The Bath Short Story Award and The Wells Festival of Literature’s short story competition.
